Amendment to our payment processes

As a response to the UK's Border Target Operating Model (BTOM), Mersey Port Health Authority has opted to modify our internal procedures to minimise business disruptions. Therefore, with effect from 30th April 2024, we will no longer be operating pre-pay accounts.

Importer Information Note IUU Process Change

New import controls began on 31 January 2024. Imports of fish and fishery products are now categorised into high, medium and low risk categories under the Border Target Operating Model (BTOM).
