When importing food commercially there are various types of documentation required before the consignment can be released into circulation.
One of the main reasons a container is delayed is due to incorrect documentation being received. To assist you in this matter, we have listed below the required documentation for the most common items imported into Liverpool.

Consignments containing Products of Animal Origin require Pre-notification of arrival, by a minimum of 24 hours, either by TRACES, Email or Fax. |

FNAO - CED |
Consignments listed in Regulations 1152/2009 and Annex I of 669/2009 require Pre-notification of arrival, by a minimum of 24 hours, either by Email or Fax. |
In some instances, mainly in respect of 1152/2009, we would also need copy of Analytical Reports. These can be electronically sent. You will need to make reference to the CED No or Container No on the email. |

Organic Certification |
Consignments of an Organic Nature require Pre-notification of arrival, by a minimum of 24 hours, either by Email or Fax. |

FNAO -Groundnuts |
Consignments of Groundnuts from USA require Pre-notification of arrival, by a minimum of 24 hours, either by Email or Fax. |

|
Milk/Soy |
Consignments of Milk or Soy from China require completion of an Importers Declaration. A copy of which can be found here for download |
